A tribute to Rudolph E. Nelson, age 82, a gentle and sensitive man. He had a quick wit, a dry sense of humor, always with a twinkle in his eye.

They moved to Sioux Falls and he was employed by Jordan Millwork Co as sales manager and later President and CEO retiring in 1988. They made their home in Sioux Falls until the time of his death.

He was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church since 1975 and served on the Foundation Board, Board of Trustees and as mediation board chairman. He was a past member of Grace Lutheran and Our Redeemer Lutheran Churches in Watertown. He was civic minded and belonged to the Rotary North, where he was the charter president, American Legion Post 15 member for 51 years, Elks Club and the HOO-HO Lumberman´s Fraternal Organization.
