The members of Rotary West enjoyed success again with the club's annual Christmas Tree Project.
Each year, club members solicit donated Christmas trees and holiday decorations for the needy families of the Sioux Falls.
This year, the club deliveredc more than 50 trees and decorations across the city.
Club members worked one night picking up the trees, another night on building stands for the trees, a third night attaching the stands to the trees and then delivered the trees and decorations on Saturday, December 20.
Club members were met with holiday cheers from the needy and newcomers to the area.
It's a fabulous annual project that again brought special moments of holiday joy to the families that received the trees as well as for the various club member volunteers who took part in the project.
This year Ryan Ling coordinated the effort and used his home as the staging area. |
